• The DMI research project provides the backup information to go forward with a prototype and website for trying to solve a particular problem identified during the course. It includes
    • An overview of the problem; providing a clear articulation of the problem i am hoping to solve
    • Market Analysis – who is the target market and why? What do I know about them?
    • Financial Projections that flow from my target analysis. This includes how I would generate revenue and cover costs.
    • Diversity and Global implications – Specifically address the needs of diverse and global populations related to this problem. How is this problem being handled to deal with diverse and global audiences?
    • Competition – analysis of competition and state of the market; who else is trying to solve this problem and how are they doing it?
    • Potential Solutions – The project discusses several potential solutions to this problem; describing the resources necessary and ways to connect the solution to the target audience
    • Marketing Strategies – The project discusses the ways that the target market will be best reached, providing details about marketing and social media strategies
    • Any limitations or challenges. What are the human and/or technical issues that would prevent my solutions from being successful?
